Mariam arrived at RJO July 2, 2020. Mariam's father is always drunkard and is unable to provide basic needs for her and her siblings. Her parents separated due to his alcohol problems. Mariam was in the custody of her father and the elder grandmother. She was defiled by a police officer that lured her by gifts. he was stationed near the police post. The matter was reported to the police and the suspect is in police custody. The case is still ongoing. Mariam was rescued by the children officer and brought to RJO for proper care and protection. Mariam enjoys smiling and her dream is to become a doctor.
